The European Biostasis Foundation is a Basel, Switzerland based foundation dedicated to basic, translational and applied research in the areas of biostasis, cryobiology and biopreservation. With its research facility close to Zurich the EBF funds, conducts and coordinates research projects in Switzerland, Europe and globally.
As a non-profit foundation we are dependent on donations from philanthropic people or organizations sympathetic to our cause. You have different possibilities to get involved. If you have a specific engagement in mind, please do not hesitate to contact us in person.

Can I donate from outside of Switzerland?

Yes, you can. We accept donation from outside either directly or via Transnational Giving Europe (TGE).

What will my donation be used for?

Most donations are used for advancing the research and education goals of the foundation. In special cases, donations can be made for specific projects that might be of interest to the donor. These projects need to in scope and in line with the goals of the EBF. Please contact us for details.
